about Sarah…
Sarah is a compassionate, client-centered therapist who believes healing begins in a collaborative, supportive environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. She is committed to helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life's challenges by creating a space where they can explore emotions, process past experiences, and move toward a life that reflects their values and goals.
Sarah specializes in working with children and adults experiencing trauma, grief, anxiety, and major life transitions, including divorce and adoption. She holds an Ed.S. in Mental Health Counseling and a Certificate in Play Therapy from the University of South Carolina.
Recognizing that every client is unique, Sarah tailors her approach to meet each individual's needs. She integrates evidence-based modalities including somatic therapies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and expressive arts interventions.
Sarah has a special passion for working with children ages 3–10 through Child-Centered Play Therapy and Synergetic Play Therapy. She partners closely with caregivers to help them look beyond behaviors, better understand their child's emotional world, and build stronger, more connected relationships. Whether working with a young child or an adult, Sarah's goal is to foster healing, strengthen self-understanding, and help clients build lives that are authentic, connected, and meaningful.
