“Healing doesn't require you to be ready, only willing to begin.”

Support for Individuals and Families

Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or unsure where to begin.

You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Therapy offers a supportive space to feel heard, explore your experiences, and make sense of life's challenges.

I support individuals and families seeking healing, personal growth, and meaningful change. You may be:

  • Feeling overwhelmed or emotionally exhausted

  • Uncertain about the future

  • Stuck in patterns that no longer serve you

  • Hoping for positive changes in your life

I also support individuals and families navigating high-conflict divorce and separation, including challenges related to:

  • Emotional stress and adjustment

  • Communication difficulties

  • Parenting concerns

  • Family relationships and transitions

You do not need to have all the answers or know exactly what to say. Together, we can explore your experiences, recognize your strengths, and identify a path forward that honors your needs, values, and goals.

Areas of Professional Interest

My professional interests include supporting individuals and families experiencing:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • ADHD and autism-related support needs

  • Self-esteem and self-confidence concerns

  • Relationship and parenting challenges

  • High-conflict divorce and separation

  • Life transitions and adjustment

  • Grief, loss, and caregiving challenges

  • Emotional adjustment to illness or significant life changes

Our work will be individualized to your experiences, preferences, strengths, and goals. Together, we can identify priorities and develop an approach that feels meaningful, supportive, and manageable.

My Therapeutic Approach

I strive to create a compassionate, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and supported.

My practice is guided by cultural humility and respect for each person's dignity, autonomy, lived experiences, and right to self-determination.

My therapeutic approach is:

  • Person-centered: Respecting your individual experiences, choices, and needs.

  • Collaborative: Working together to identify meaningful goals.

  • Strengths-based: Recognizing your existing abilities, resilience, and potential.

  • Individualized: Honoring your values, preferences, and personal pace.

I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-informed strategies, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed skills, art-based activities, and creative expression when clinically appropriate and aligned with your goals.

I also value creative, play-informed, and nature-based approaches as opportunities to:

  • Explore emotions and personal experiences

  • Develop self-awareness and understanding

  • Build practical coping skills

  • Strengthen emotional regulation

  • Encourage personal growth and self-expression

I recognize that meaningful expression and personal growth do not always begin with words alone.

Therapy is a collaborative process. My goal is to support you in strengthening coping skills, deepening self-awareness, navigating relationships and life transitions, and exploring meaningful change at a pace that respects your individual needs.
